Google’s new free AI just made data science simple
Google has opened access to its new AI powered Data Science Agent inside Colab. It automates coding, analysis and experiment setup, which will speed up the work of researchers, analysts and anyone working with data.
Colab is already a go to environment for running Python in the browser with free access to GPUs and TPUs. This update takes it further by turning Colab into an assistant that builds full workflows for you.
How it works
- Open a blank Colab notebook
- Upload your dataset
- Describe what you want to achieve
- The AI generates a complete notebook with ready to run code
What normally takes hours of coding, debugging and preparing data can be completed in minutes. Early users say it cuts the boring parts of data science and lets them spend more time on actual insight and decision making.
Google reports that testers are already streamlining their workflows and uncovering results faster than before.
